Genealogy/Local History Room

The Local History/Genealogy room was established for the collection and conservation of Hancock County local history and genealogical materials.

The collection includes material on Indiana , Hancock County and Greenfield . It contains death indexes, family histories, census indexes, microfilm and genealogy reference materials.

Hours:

The room is available for use during the library's regular business hours as listed below:

Monday-Thursday: 9 am - 9 pm
Friday: 9 am - 6 pm
Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm - 4 pm

Microfilm machines are available to view microfilm and print copies. Copies are 10 cents per page.
