How to Place a Hold

First, you need to find the item you would like to place a hold on.  After accessing the online catalog, enter your search terms in the search box.

After finding an item you would like to place a hold on, click on .

This will bring you to the item information page. On the left side of the screen, click on “Place Hold.”  From here, you will have to enter your login information (if not already logged in) and pickup library.
If more than one volume is available, put a check in the box next to the one you would like to place a hold on.  Once you have entered all of the information, click on “Place Hold”

If everything has been entered correctly, you will reach a confirmation page. Your hold has been placed.
