Program Description

Join us for a talk in New Palestine with author and U.S. Army veteran Brice A. Tressler, who will discuss his World War II novel Thomas and Michael. The book follows an American soldier who discovers he has a twin brother in Germany and undertakes a dangerous journey across multiple fronts to find him. Blending historical detail with an intimate family story, the novel explores identity, loyalty, and the human cost of war.

Brice A. Tressler served in Germany with the 3rd Infantry Division before building a long career as a teacher, education leader, and investment adviser. Now active in his church and community in New Palestine, Indiana, he published Thomas and Michael, his debut novel, at age 85.
