AdultsProgram Description
Step behind the scenes at Bradley Hall Events, a landmark perched atop one of Indiana’s oldest Masonic Temple buildings in downtown Greenfield’s Historic District. Built in 1895 as a three-story Indiana limestone structure, the building has evolved from a clothing store and general mercantile (with a department store on the first floor) to professional offices and a third-floor Masonic Hall—before becoming today’s Bradley Hall, home to shops, local businesses, and a destination for weddings and private events.
On this tour, we’ll explore the entire facility, from the restored third-floor ballroom, known for its massive arched stained-glass windows, 21-foot barrel-vault ceiling, and original oak woodwork, to the adjoining spaces that support celebrations of all sizes. We’ll also head down to the basement, where you’ll see a striking detail you’d never notice from the street: windows that are now fully covered by the sidewalk outside, a hidden reminder of the building’s long life and changing surroundings.
Behind the Scenes Hancock is an adults-only series that gives members of our community opportunities to learn more about the inner workings of local businesses and organizations - without the need to sign up to chaperone a school group!
