Get a backstage pass to the historic Hancock County Chamber of Commerce building in downtown Greenfield with HCPLibrary’s Behind the Scenes Hancock series. Constructed in 1875 and part of the Greenfield Courthouse Square Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places, the Chamber’s home has played several roles in the community over the years. Participants will tour the space, hear a few highlights of its past, and learn how the Chamber supports local businesses and community connections today.

Behind the Scenes Hancock is an adults-only series that gives members of our community opportunities to learn more about the inner workings of local businesses and organizations - without the need to sign up to chaperone a school group! HCPLibrary will not be providing transportation. Please arrive by 1:45 PM for the 2:00 PM tour.

Registration is required for this limited-capacity tour. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation so those on the waiting list can attend.
