Boldly go where your research has never gone before! Join us for Genealogy Trek, an engaging program that uses the original Star Trek cast as guides on your journey through family history.

Whether you’re a beginner or have been digging into records for years, you’ll explore essential genealogy resources such as AncestryLibrary Edition, HeritageQuest, FamilySearch, and Newspapers.com. We’ll also introduce the “star charts” of genealogy: research logs, checklists, family group sheets, pedigree charts, and family trees—tools that make your discoveries more robust and lasting.

From William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy to Nichelle Nichols and James Doohan, we’ll venture forth into the varied pasts, learn new techniques, and have some fun together on a Genealogy Trek. Leave behind your same old research problems for the night and discover fresh sources and approaches to chart your family’s galaxy.
