Sign up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to receive a free book, addressed to your child, every month until their 5th birthday.
The Hancock County Public Library provides free test proctoring (the student is responsible for all other associated expenses, including institutional fees or postage). Exams will be proctored for residents of Hancock County by a professional librarian.
The library offers several premium homework help resources.
Interlibrary loan service (ILL) expands access to library materials beyond the holdings of the Hancock County Public Library. Make an ILL request online or call the Information Desk at (317) 462-5141, Ext. 240.
Anyone permanently residing within Hancock County is eligible for a free library card! Bring a proof of address, such as a driver’s license or recent utility bill, to either HCPL location. If you live in Vernon Township, you will need to bring in your Vernon Township Public Library card.
Print at the library from your own device or one of our computers. The cost per side of an 8.5x11 or 8.5x14 page is $0.10 for black and white copies and $0.25 for color copies. See how to use mobile printing here.

Reserve a study room for up to 12 people for free, or rent a meeting room for larger events.
