Creativity is messy! Explore your inner artist with different materials and techniques at this fun, open-ended art experience. Ages 2-6 with caregiver.

In this program, children will explore themes of sharing and friendship, inspired by the popular children's book, The Rainbow Fish. They will also be decorating a fish shape with colorful materials to mimic the scales of the fish.

Come and join us as we move and groove with your little ones! We will dance, sing, and play with musical instruments and props in this fun music and movement based storytime!

Kids (ages 3-7 with an adult) come join us for an evening storytime with songs and fun. Bring your favorite pal (stuffed animal) and wear your pajamas.  (Pajamas for kids are encouraged but not required).

Learn all about eradicating invasive plant species and replacing them with natives in this free educational event sponsored by Hancock County Soil & Water Conservation District and the Hancock County Master Gardeners Association.

Librarian Paul McNeil will lead a discussion of Ina Garten's best selling memoir Be Ready When the Luck Happens. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to read the book in advance.

Teens and Tweens ages 10-17 are invited to play Dungeons & Dragons with the Sugar Creek crew. New and experienced players are welcome. Materials will be provided. 

Kids (ages 5-11), do you love LEGOs? Come create masterpieces with us. Everyone will get scoops of Legos and a building plate. Finished creations will be put on display in the Children's Room.

The Hancock County Public Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of every month unless specified otherwise. These sessions are open to the public.
